Health Diet Weight Loss Tips: How do you pay for a gym membership?
I am getting a three month gym membership for summer….it’s $100. I visited and liked it and they told me if I decide to become a member to just come in and pay.
Problem is, how do you pay for these things? What should I bring in? If I brought in my debit card, would that be okay? I honestly don’t know the method of how to pay for a gym membership.
Thanks!
Answer:
I used a credit card, but debit cards might work. Not all gyms accept debit. Best bring cash mate. Read more…

Answer:
go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans.

Dear Destiny,
One thing you need to understand is that you have to work hard if you want to change the shape of your body. That means a balance of medium-high intensity cardio exercise along with challenging strength training workouts.
For weight loss, you’ll need to get about 5 cardio workouts each week at a medium-high intensity for at least 30 minutes. If you’re a beginner, it’s best to start slow and work your way up but, if you’re in good condition and have no restrictions, challenging yourself with harder workouts is the best way to burn more calories. Interval training is a good choice because studies show you continue to burn calories even after you’ve stopped exercising.
In addition to your cardio workouts, you’ll need to lift weights for all your muscle groups at least 2 non-consecutive days a week. And, by lifting weights, that means using enough weight that you can ONLY complete the desired number of reps. For example, if you’re doing 12 bicep curls, you need to use enough weight that you can only do 12 bicep curls and not one more. Most people don’t lift enough weight to really challenge their muscles.
What you need to engage in is a well balanced all rounded diet with considerable physical exertion over a prolonged time period. Food can be broken down into 5 major groups. These groups are carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals and water. The body needs varying amounts of these types of food so that the adequate amount of nutrients is supplied to the body. A well-balanced diet does not mean an equal amount of each type of food, as our body requires more of some nutrients than others.
Each type of food plays a significant role in our body but excesses or deficiencies of certain types of food can also harm the body and produce a negative impact on our health.
It is very important that we know how much of each type of food we are supposed to consume and that we eat in a sensible way. This means eating regular meals at "least" three times a day and drinking plenty of water, but what I would suggest is breaking it down to 5 smaller meals a day and having your last solid meal before 6pm after that you are only allowed to have pure low fat milk a mug or two would be a good idea to cut down on excessive cravings.
Hope this answers your question.
Am i an ok weight for my age and hight?
Health Diet Weight Loss Tips: Am i an ok weight for my age and hight?
Im 5′ 3" and im 14 and im 114 pounds, i just want to know if im an ok, weight cause everyone calls me fat! Also i run 22 miles a week.
Also if you can figure it out what is my bmi? Thank you sooo much
Answer:
22 miles a week you must eat like a whale.
Answer:
Ur absolutely ok..
Answer:
Your BMI is 20.2 and i think your fine. 20.2 is also at the low end of the healthy BMI scale so I dont understand why anyone would call you fat.
Answer:
You should be at around 100 or under.
Answer:
You bmi is 20.2 which is healthy. I think you are normal and whoever calls you fat is just an insecure douchebag
Answer:
you sound perfectly healthy! (anymore.. if someone’s ribs aren’t showing, people call them fat.. that’s complete and utter bullsht.. you are a good weight for your height
)
now, your BMI.. DO NOT go by what it says on a BMI chart for your height.. because you have lean muscle because you run frequently, so if you were to have a caliper test done, they measure the excess skin, that will give you a good BMI.. or if you stay very well hydrated, you can have what’s called "bioelectrical impedance" done. it doesn’t hurt, they run electricity through your body, and it measure the amount of fat versus water, versus muscle mass. and gives you a very accurate BMI..
HOWEVER: you MUST stay hydrated for bioelectrical impedance, otherwise it won’t work at all.
no problem
Answer:
you’re a bit underweight not that bad though. Ideal range is 125. BMI is around 19, you’re in good shape but don’t lose more weight though. Tone up your body if you must or gain some muscle other than that, you sound ok
Answer:
Your at a normal healthy weight . Your body is still changing… Your 14….that’s an awkward body shape age for most…so your fat may not be exactly where it’s supposed to be but it’ll change. Don’t listen to the rude people
Answer:
I’m going to assume you’re female. Your weight is completely fine for your height–not unhealthily skinny, and certainly not overweight. Whoever falls you "fat" is ignorant and just wrong.
Answer:
You are fine!
Answer:
No your not heavy, you are rather light.
when i was about at your size of
height(12yrs old), i was 64 kg(140pounds)
now I’m 13 and I’m 76kg(167.2 pounds)
if u think ur fat,go play rugby, it will turn ur fat mass to a muscular mass.
P90X or insanity? Which one should I do first?
Health Diet Weight Loss Tips: P90X or insanity? Which one should I do first?
I weigh 170 and I want to get down to 130. Ive heard this exercise programs really work. So I want to try them. But which is is better to start first? I want to lose weight then tone up.
Answer:
I did P90x first and I felt that I was in very good shape. Insanity has a lot more cardio to it and it does take a lot to work up to the intensity of Insanity. Many people who have done P90x even feel tired and wore out after the first week of Insanity. I have used both exercise sets and the Insanity will tone you, get you in shape and help you lose weight. But remember that a lot of weight loss also comes from changing eating habits, etc. Good luck on your weight loss and in reaching your goals!
Answer:
Insanity would wear you out if you haven’t tried any decent exercise routines like P90X yet. Work your way up, and don’t set an unrealistic time limit.
Answer:
if you are a weights, kind of person p90x is for you, if you prefer body weight and intense cardio then, Insanity is good for you
Insanity seems like a better choice since there are no special equipment or weights you have to rely on, just your independent self. Good luck! It’ll be worth the sweat man, no doubt

Health Diet Weight Loss Tips: Is being 5’6-5’7 and 128lbs okay?
I’m around height 5’6-5’7 and told I’m weighed as 128lbs. At one point not too long ago I was 138lbs, but apparently I seemed to have dropped ten pounds.:/ I was told while being 138lbs that it was a little underweight for the height I am. So… Is this a bit normal?
I’m eighteen if that helps, so I’m pretty much done from growing anymore.

Is it possible to gain 40 to 50 pounds in 10 weeks?
Health Diet Weight Loss Tips: Is it possible to gain 40 to 50 pounds in 10 weeks?
Here’s the story. I had begun my freshman at a height of 4 feet and 9 inches and 72 pounds and finished my freshman year at a height of just 5 feet 0 inches and still 72 pounds. I had met a friend who in the end of his sophomore year was about 5 feet 4 inches and 110 pounds and is now a senior and is 5 feet 8 inches and about 170 pounds and swole as hell. He told me his story on building muscle and size and helped me in doing so and so during the summer after my freshman year I gained 22 pounds in just the month of July of what I’ll say was 70% muscle (I don’t know I just looked a lot more toned) putting me at 94 pounds. Then I started my sophomore year of high school in the beginning of August and because this was a tougher school year and I felt like that I didn’t have time to workout anymore so I stopped trying to gain weight before I just got fat. I am now finishing my sophomore year (I have 2 and a half weeks left) and I am still at 94 pounds but I grew to 5 feet 4 inches and I was thinking about trying to gain 40 pounds or maybe even 50 pounds since I’ll be doing this in both June and July for summer my summer break which is 10 weeks. I just want to do this in the summer because I’ll be starting my Junior soon which is a very important year of high school and will be very tough. I’ll still be working out as usual but I won’t have the time to be gaining weight. I also used this basal metabolic rate calculator http://www.muscleandstrength.com/tools/bmr-and-daily-calorie-calculator.html and it shows that I burn 1627 calories a day with little or no exercise. I was thinking maybe when summer starts I could do a 5000 calorie diet that includes 70 to 80 grams of whey protein a day to help with gaining weight and I’ll start working out about 3 days a week and eventually build up to 5 or maybe 6 days a week with slight cardio in between since I don’t want to be burning out calories with cardio. I do understand 40 to 50 pounds in 10 weeks of summer is 4 to 5 pounds a week and I’ve heard gaining 5 pounds a week is impossible. I am also a vegetarian and I do consider myself an ectomorph having a flat chest, small shoulders, small and delicate frame, etc. Yet anyways I am basically asking if it possible for me to gain 40 to 50 pounds in 10 weeks of my summer break with a 5000 calorie vegetarian diet that includes 70 to 80 grams of protein while working out 3 days a week and building up to 5 to 6 days a week. Please answer before my summer break begins which again is in 2 and a half weeks
Also remember, I am currently 16 years old, 5 feet 4 inches tall, and 94 pounds with a bmr at 1627 calories a day with little or no activity.
Possible reward of 10 points!
